About me

On this page you’ll find out about my current work and projects. If you’re interested in my background, take a look at Shakespeares beagle, and you’ll find information about my career in What’s past is prologue.

What am I currently working on?

  •  Reviving the Shakespeare blog, which has over 900 posts and receives over 105,000 page views a year from at least 109 countries.
  • The Shakespeare Club of Stratford-upon-Avon. I’ve been on the committee since 2011, and Secretary since 2019. The Club holds eight meetings consisting of talks over the winter months, contributes to the Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations every April, often has its own Birthday Luncheon for members and holds occasional special events
  • The Club is trying to raise its profile particularly to young people. From 2024-7 it is giving a small educational bursary to students to enable them to make a study visit to Stratford and is beginning to work with local schools.
  • In 2026 I am taking a leading role in revitalising the Club’s website. https://www.stratfordshakespeareclub.org/
